Blitz Cannons privacy policy

Blitz Cannons is a turn-based cartoon artillery game: aim, mind the wind and fire at the other cannon – against the computer, against a friend on the same device, or online against other players through Apple Game Center. The app is free and has no ads. This page explains what data is used and by whom.
Who is responsible
RegneMatik, Stationsvej 56, 5771 Stenstrup, Denmark, CVR 46775988, is the data controller for the app. Write to regnematik@gmail.com. For Game Center and purchases, Apple is responsible for the data Apple processes.
What the app stores – and where
- Your game: coins, unlocked cannons and ammo, upgrades, Heatseekers, your online rating and statistics, your sound, music and game settings, levels you build in the level editor, and whether you bought the Starter pack. This is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to us.
- Backup: if iCloud Backup is turned on, your device may include the app’s data in your own backup. We have no access to it.
Online games and leaderboard (Apple Game Center)
If you are signed in to Game Center, Apple gives the app your Game Center nickname and a player ID, so the app can find an opponent and show the leaderboard. You are matched with players of a similar rank.
- During an online game the app sends only game moves to your opponent through Game Center: the angle and power of each shot, the weapon, and the state of the level afterwards, plus your rating, cannon and ammo at the start of the game. There is no chat and no voice.
- Leaderboard: your rating is sent to the Game Center leaderboard “Rating”, where other players can see your nickname and rating.
Game Center is provided by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. You can sign out, change your nickname or hide your profile in Settings → Game Center. All other game modes work without Game Center.
No ads
Version 1.0 of the app shows no ads and contains no advertising or analytics software. If we add ads in a later version, we will update this page first and the app will ask for your consent where required.
Purchases
The Starter pack and coin packs are bought through Apple, which handles payment under Apple’s privacy policy. We receive no payment information. The app only asks Apple whether the purchase is complete.
What the app does not do
No account, no chat, no ads, no tracking and no analytics tools. The app does not ask for access to contacts, camera, microphone, photos or precise location. We do not sell data.
Deletion
Everything the app has stored is deleted when you delete the app. Your rating on the Game Center leaderboard is managed by Apple. Data held by Apple is deleted under Apple’s own rules, see the link above.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. It has no ads, no chat and no way to contact other players.
Your rights
We hold no data about you that we could disclose or correct. If you have questions, write to us. You can always lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
Changes
If we change how the app uses data, we update this page and the date at the top.
